Doc Buxton

Bill Buxton is one of the founding fathers of HCI and interaction design. Few people have meant more than Bill when it comes to standing up for design-oriented values and practices in the engineering cultures of ICT and telecom. Among other feats, Bill is the author of the textbook Sketching User Experiences, which is widely used and referenced.

More importantly, Bill looks a little bit like Doc Brown in Back to the Future.

Bill’s own comment on looking like Doc Brown: “It has been pointed out before. I like it as long as I get the car too! :-)” And on the clip above: “Pretty funny … These things are too important to take seriously.”
