Quick Pitch: It’s My Experience is a web based editor where users can create location based games and experiences for mobile platforms. The editor is a tool for creating informal and contextualized learning and is easy to use which transforms users into producers of location based content.
A few examples of what can be created with the editor: (1) Explore a city’s architecture, (2) Practical mathematics, (3) Pervasive gaming in CSI Malmö, (4) Learn about historical places, (5) Tourism, find out which restaurants are nearby, (6) Entertainment, collect all the flags.
Daniel Karlsson, Awnic Interaction Design, gives a brief introduction to the project. “It’s My Experience is a tool for users to create their own location based content (games and experiences) with a focus on the school environment. For instance, teachers can create informal but complex math classes and then transfer it to the mobile phone for the students to explore the physical environment.”
Daniel Karlsson, Awnic Interaction Design, talks about the values of co-production and who has been involved in this project.
